FFSP had hoped to have the new website up before we loaded the presentations from the January Workshop. The new password protected friendsoffloridastateparks.org site will be coming soon, but since we had lots of demand for the presentations we have decided to temporarily place them here.

It is always valuable to provide potential board members with a clear understanding of the organizations needs and expectations for that person's contribution to the overall mission. FFSP, Inc. is happy to provide a sample board contract to help your Friends group in recruiting new board members for your CSO. Click Here for a sample. NOTE: This is only a helpful suggestion using a tool other non-profits have used in the past. It is in no way required by either State Parks or by Friends.
ATTENTION !! All Florida State Parks Friends & Alliance Groups.
The next cycle for project funding applications will begin on May 1, 2012 with applications due by June 1, 2012. The new application form is being developed and will be posted on the new www.friendsoffloridastateparks.org website that is now in development and hopefully will be up by mid February. Eligible projects will be funded if recommended in a competitive process by the FFSP committee charged with reviewing applications and recommending to the full Board. The budget for the next cycle has been established at $20,000 with each CSO project eligible for up to $1,000 in matching funds. The funds will be available on July 1, 2012 at the beginning of FFSPs new fiscal year and the projects will have to be completed by May 30, 3013. Please watch your email for updates in the Friends2Friends newsletter and encourage other members of your CSO/Friends group leadership to sign up for the newsletter by forwarding your copy when you receive it.
