 McFadden is president of the Volunteer USA Foundation – a foundation aimed at strengthening families through volunteerism and community service. Innovative programs include the award winning Teen Trendsetters where teens across the South mentor struggling second and third-grade youth in the environment and reading. In October 2010 Volunteer USA was awarded the Youth Thrive Award by GreatNonprofits for making a positive difference for youth.
